A happy BrideFrequently Asked Questions

How many photographers attend a wedding?

We usually cover most weddings with one photographer however there are three photographers available within ICG. So if you are having a large wedding or the situation dictates that more than one photographer is required then we will have more photographers attend your wedding.

How many weddings do you cover per day?

We only cover one wedding per day, so this means that you have our full attention to cover the whole day for you.

Do I need to pay a deposit on booking?

We ask for £100 deposit when booking, however this is fully refundable up to three months before the date of the wedding should you decide not to go ahead with your wedding. However this is fully refundable up to the date of the wedding should you need to cancel your wedding due to a serious illness or death in the family.

How long after our wedding will we see our proofs?

We try and have your preview album and CD's ready for you on your return from your honeymoon.

What sort of wedding albums do you do?

We have a wide range of wedding albums available from traditional albums to Storybooks. The traditional albums come in a variety of different colours and styles and also include a range of parents albums. Should you want something a little different then we offer a range of Storybook albums that include parents and guest albums presented in an attaché case.

How many photographs do you take?

This very much depends on the size of the wedding, at an average of 100 guests with us attending three, possibly four venues then would aim to take approx 500 photographs and present you with approx 450.

What sort of coverage do you provide?

Many years ago the coverage was all traditional, then the trend moved to candid and spontaneous with some reportage. Today we would provide all these types of photographic coverage at your wedding which we call a mixed coverage.

What happens between when we book you and the day of the wedding?

After you have booked us, we will meet you usually two weeks before the date of your wedding to go through the final details of your day, plus we will go through with you any additional photographs you may like taken on the day. We will also visit the venues that you will be attending, even though we attend many venues in the Hampshire area and may know your venue well, we will still visit to make sure that no other activities are taking place at or near the venue.
